this anime been really depressing from the start, but i like it, and imagine if both of them lived normally after the accident, it will be great if it did.

i think in the end rachel killed herself and she just imagined zack being there and fulfilling their promise, because zack was already dead at that time. she used the knife to break the window and jumped. she died happily, but zack couldn't make it back to her. at least that's what i think

the glass was alot inside and iron bars broken. maybe we just got her view of the case bc she was crazy. and u know who breaks iron bars

it would take her a lot of time to break the iron, also she is in a mental facility, she isn't supposed to have the knife from Zack. really opened ending in my opinion. still makes me confused. I think it's a dream, but the police cars are so realistic.

but if you look carefully there is a scene of this ep where the windows don't have iron, i think rachel just percibed it that way because she couldn't get away from that place, so she just jumped and died. but yeah it is a very opened ending

So the thing in the ending that everyone is talking about could be 2 things in my opinion. 1st: could be zack was killed by the police and rachel was alive and imagined all that thing bec after she closed her eyes in the bed the window broke,right? and 2nd: could be that they both died( rachel killed herself by jumping from the window and zack my boy was killed by the police. I personally loved the anime but still im crying bec of the ending.😭

i just had the thought that,"the angel of death" yes the tittle itself is the key to the ending..i mean the ending did caught me hangin on the edge ;_;
okay so,the counselor told ray that zack is dead(been sentenced to death)
and ray was obviously upset but just to forget the thought of it she went to sleep,
and imagined that she met up with him again..
so,ray might imagined that zack who was dead,showed up as "the angel of death" (since he killed a lot of people i assume?)
and that to be with zack who's dead,ray killed herself..
the knife, and the blood that was stained on the window and ray,felt down...and so the lady screaming,who saw this incident,called the police.. and those were the last memories of ray before she died...
the ending could be happy nor sad,but i just had a thought about this...
and so when she reached to the afterlife i guess, and that is when zack said
"stop crying and smile" where i assume they dead and being happily together :')

They both didn't. I checked up and found out that the author confirmed that they both survived/escaped and the cops are still trying to find them.

theres an end scene wtch it. theres atleast 3 possible theories for me(2nd is what i wanna beleive in). one is if u see the end probs it could have been suicide cuz the knife and blood part on the window cuz of the news of zack being dead and all finally broke her more and imagined zack killing her when she did it with his knife but shes not strong enough to break iron bars is what im curious about or idk hallucinated it and jumped out the window with still issue with the bars how it broke. Another is zack was close to death after surviving the execution and going to see Rachel in his final moments alive. When they fall out the window, Zack stabs her and ends her life with his final breath. He dies shortly after and they are in each other's arms. 3rd is well kinda contradicts the second but its weird cuz zack had his scythe which broke right and he looked fine and in a killing mood which rachel sees him as which could mean it was a dream all in her head cuz she did close her eyes and maybe fell asleep and dreamt of it.

Thank goodness zack is alive. i almost got a heart attack from hearing he was dead, i was so happy to see him, i shed a few tears after seeing him again. Zack is so perfect.
